Mountain Dew Aims for Geriatric Crowd?

Thanks to Kevin Dugan over at the Strategic Public Relations blog for pointing me to a weird Mountain Dew ... uh ... series called Do Your Own Adventure With Sue Teller, which can be found at this YouTube channel. In the first episode Sue Teller teaches her audience how to customize their kicks. In the second, she teaches them how to create mashups:

They combine the cheesy production value of Will it Blend and the oddness of the Skittles beard commercial, but neither of the Sue Teller videos is all that funny--especially once the novelty wears off. It'll be interesting to see where Mountain Dew goes with this. (Dugan's guessing it might have something to do with Super Bowl.)
