Clydesdales and lizards and chimps -- oh, my! With all the Super Bowl advertisers focused on the usual menagerie, it's lucky the canine kingdom has a place of its own on Feb. 6. Yes, the Puppy Bowl is back and the dog lovers at Ad Age couldn't be more excited. This year it will also be available in 3D and include a new "Kiss Cam."
Animal Planet today unveiled its starting lineup of ten players -- among them two females, Thelma and Louise -- and a handsome bunch of shelter pups they are indeed. Checking over the lineup, this writer's putting odds on spunky 14-month-old Heeler mix Willy as Most Valuable Puppy.
And, oh yes. The network also informs that there will be a half time show featuring kittens. Meh. For that, we'll switch back over to Fergie.
