Free, Easy and Less Likely to Get You in Trouble

By Published on . is overhauling its comment section to make it a little more user-friendly -- and a little less likely to get you in trouble with your boss.

From here on out, readers' comments will go live automatically and appear with the username you use to log on to If your username is an e-mail address, your comment will appear with the first name you've used to register.

While we appreciate comments with real names of real people attached, this will obviously allow for something a little more freewheeling. (That said, we'll still be monitoring comments and deleting anything that crosses the lines of libel and good taste. We'll also delete blatant plugs for your business that have nothing to do with an article or post.)

Want to change your username? Simply scroll up to the "Welcome" prompt at the top of and click on your name. This will allow you to edit your account settings. Once at the account-settings page, scroll down to "username" and change it. Voila.
