How would you characterize the judging experience so far?

Exhausting and enlightening. Enlightening in the fact that you get to hear so many opinions from all over the world. There are things that people agree on but so many that people are poles apart on. As president of the jury you sit in middle; you can't push your opinion in too much. Whether you agree or not you have to support the conversation. But every jury member will walk away with massively wider perspective of why advertising is not consistent.

Any surprises?

On print, because TV is still early on, it's a good year not a great year.

How's the TV work overall?

Its overwhelming at this stage you're thinking, "wow, someone entered that?" When you see a stretch of things that aren't good, you have to be careful that when you do see something that's good that you don't mark it too high.

Favorite restaurant?

La Pizza. Best pizza in the world.
