Trading Spaces: A Look at Some of Adland's New Digs
Tech companies aren't the only ones with creative, thoughtful office spaces. When it comes to turning their offices into places employees love to come to work, ad agencies can hold their own.
In celebration of Ad Age's move into a bright, airy space of our own high above Third Avenue, we spotlight seven shops that have recently undergone renovations or an office move. Some went the historic route: Lowe Campbell Ewald moved into the old J.L. Hudson Co. warehouse at Ford Field, home to the Detroit Lions. Others like Y&R, New York, are carving a new path -- the WPP shop left its storied space on Madison Avenue for an office just south of Central Park in Manhattan.
And, of course, you get to take a peek at our own new offices in the Midtown East neighborhood (coincidentally, our neighbors include McCann's dramatic offices and Weber Shandwick's space, which features movable walls.) For a tour, check out the interactive map below.
