Comcast Puts Business-Service Account Into Play

NEW YORK ( -- Comcast Business Services is putting its creative account into review, said an executive familiar with the matter.

Richards Group, Dallas, currently handles marketing for the cable provider's business service, which provides phone and high-speed internet for small- and medium-size businesses. Media duties are not in play.

Goodby handles residential
The review has no impact on Comcast's residential-services account, currently handled by Omnicom Group's Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

It could not be determined how much Comcast Business Services spends on measured media annually at press time.

A spokeswoman for Comcast declined to comment on the review. A Richards Group spokeswoman could not be reached by press time.
