The One Club for Creativity recognized 10 women as its 2018 "Next Creative Leaders," announced last week at the 3% Conference in Chicago. The honor is a partnership between One Club on 3% to celebrate the women destined to be among the creative leaders of the future.
This year's winners are Lizzie Wilson (of "Fearless Girl" fame, associate creative director at McCann New York; Copywriter Nedal Ahmed, Associate Creative Director Julie Matheny and Copywriter Mietta McFarlane of Droga5; Copywriter Lama Bawadi of Leo Burnett Beirut; Art Director Maddy Kramer of Saatchi & Saatchi NY; Associate Creative Director Krystle Mullin of RPA; Art Director Evelina Rönnung of Forsman & Bodenfors; Art Director Jessica Shriftman of Wieden & Kennedy New York; and Digital Creative Head Gayatri Sriram of FCBUlka.
Goodby Silverstein & Partners promoted David Suarez and Danny Gonzalez to executive creative directors. Since joining the agency in 2014, the duo have been creative leads on Liberty Mutual, Credit Karma, StubHub, NFL Media and the Golden State Warriors. Previously, they've held positions at Barton F. Graf and TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, working with clients like Little Caesars, Ragú, JetBlue, Domino's Pizza, Stride Gum and Jameson Irish Whiskey.
We Are Social opens an office in Hong Long, its thirteenth worldwide. Donald Wong will lead the new shop as director. He joins from the agency's Shanghai office, where he spent the last three years. Account Manager Yun Gu is also relocating from We Are Social's Paris office. The Hong Kong office will work with clients including BYD, TOUCHBeauty, and GMAC.
Michelle Guzman joins Yamaha as the director of Studio 60, the in-house creative agency for the brand's musical instruments and audiovisual products. Most recently she was senior account director of retail and CRM at Spark44, where she was client lead for Jaguar Land Rover retail marketing campaigns. Previously, she was an account lead at Siltanen & Partners and Dentsu Next for American Suzuki Motor Corporation. She's also worked at Saatchi & Saatchi and with clients like Toyota, Procter & Gamble and Pizza Hut.
Gabe Hajiani joins DNA as the Seattle agency's first head of creation and content. He will become part of the management team and will also lead the shop's independent production company. Previously, he was a partner at the now-shuttered Wexley School for Girls, where he spent 10 years.
Charlotte Polci has been promoted to vice president of integrated solutions at iProspect, a new role for the agency. She has been group account director and was regional director of paid search before that.
