
Linda Boff, chief marketing officer of GE, has been named chair of the Ad Council's Board of Directors. She succeeds David Sable, global CEO of Y&R, and will serve in the role for one year. Boff joined the board of directors in 2012 and became a member of the executive committee in 2014. Under her leadership, GE is a founding partner of an upcoming Ad Council campaign designed to encourage young girls to pursue their interests in STEM fields. Previously, Boff was CMO at NBC's iVillage and worked in marketing roles at Citigroup and the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Firstborn hired Technical Director Drew Dahlman, Director of User Experience Dharmarajan "Rajan" Ayakkad and Art Director Daniela Chavez. Dahlman was previously technical director at Legwork and has freelanced for Google, Toyota, Haus and Saatchi & Saatchi. Ayakkad had been lead UX designer at Kinnek and senior design director at Amplify Education. Chavez was most recently an art director at creative agency DML.

Chandelier hired Dave Clark as executive group creative director for the New York and Los Angeles offices. Previously, he served as a senior creative director and film director at Mother, Anomaly, Alldayeveryday, Yard NYC, Vice and 72andSunny. He worked with clients including Target, Olly, Campari, Airbnb, MoMA, Dell, Nike, SAB Miller, YouTube, Revlon and Diageo.

Terri & Sandy hired Chris Cannon as creative director. Most recently, he was associate creative director at BBDO New York where he worked on Super Bowl spots for M&M's and Snickers, as well as clients including Campbells, Mountain Dew, Birdseye and the Special Olympics.

Independent shop Baldwin& hired Jesús Díaz as creative director and promoted Jen Matthews to design director. Most recently, Díaz was senior art director at Walt Disney's in-house agency Yellow Shoes. He has also held positions at Energy BBDO, Leo Burnett, SGA, Barkley and &Barr, working on clients such as Extra Gum and Pearl Vision.

BMB hired Matt Lever as its chief creative officer. Most recently Lever was deputy executive creative director at VCCP, where he oversaw the rebrand of O2 and worked on clients including Transport for London, Domino's and Paddy Power. Previously, he worked at Wieden & Kennedy Portland as a creative on Facebook, Nike, Old Spice, Kraft and Coca-Cola. He was also a creative director at DLKW Lowe and has worked at TBWA London.

Chris Colborn joined Lippincott as chief experience officer and director of the agency's innovation practice. He spent two decades at R/GA, where he founded the experience design and experience strategy disciplines, and expanded the client portfolio as worldwide creative director. He worked on brands such as Beats, Macquarie, McCormick, Nike, Nokia, Samsung and Verizon, and mentored startups for R/GA's Venture Studio.

AnalogFolk hired Megan Murray as strategy director for New York. She joins from Oiselle, a Seattle-based running and athletic apparel company for women, where she was director of marketing, responsible for brand, business, creative and channel direction. Previously, she was associate director of strategy at Possible in Seattle, where she worked with brands including AT&T, Microsoft and Bacardi. She was also VP of strategy at Havas Lynx in New York.
