Cohn & Wolfe, a global communications and public-relations agency, recently launched an employee training program, known as the Digital Intelligence Series, a digital and social-media platform to encourage employees to "dig deeper" into the digital landscape and "imagine more" ways to deliver powerful digital programs to their clients.
The company gives out Charlie Farley Awards, named for their late creative director, to recognize and reward employees' great creative work. It also sends out weekly "Brain Blink" e-mails to its employees to share interesting ideas and offer insight into the creative process. The company's award-winning employee intranet, The Den, serves as an internal social network where employees are encouraged to share and respond to content, thus generating a community of creative thinkers known as the Creative Catalyst Network.
The company's New York headquarters are located in the Toy Center, a Gold LEED-certified building on Fifth Avenue, and boasts interior courtyards, enormous windows and even an alternative workspace on the roof deck.
