Profit-sharing Program Is a Big Draw for Employees

An open, loft-style office space in Chicago's gritty West Loop houses this young (launched in 2005, with an average employee age of 29) but growing independent shop with a hefty client roster, including Sharpie, Kimberly-Clark and ConAgra.

Employees enjoy perks such as meal subsidies, free parking and cellphone reimbursement, but the big draw is its profit-sharing program, which results in substantial annual checks for every employee.

Also, almost every survey respondent noted great agency culture and encouraging co-workers as a key part of this agency's success. Wrote one employee: "My boss is always looking out for me, both at work and in life. I trust him like family. We may as well be family."
