As core values go, InfoTrust’s are admirable, and guide employee interactions with both clients and coworkers. And they are part of the reason the Cincinnati-based ad tech company was chosen fifth-best among companies with up to 200 employees in Ad Age Best Places to Work 2020.
“A lot of companies talk about core values on your first day and then you never hear about them again,” says Lisa Wilms, InfoTrust operations and talent acquisition manager. “We truly put them into every decision we make, including hiring decisions.”
Since joining InfoTrust in November 2016, Wilms has focused on diversifying a growing workforce, bringing the proportion of women from 25 percent to 42 percent, a level that has held steady for two years.
Benefits at the digital analytics consulting and technology company in Cincinnati include tuition reimbursement, paid time off to volunteer, gym membership and a daily catered lunch.
InfoTrust also offers a 12-week parental leave, followed by 12 weeks of reduced schedule, for mothers and fathers, including those who adopt.
Investment in employees is not just top-down, it’s also colleague to colleague. “We have a subscription to Bonusly,” says Wilms of the platform that allows anyone to recognize peers, direct reports and managers. “It’s a way to give each other points and kudos for doing great things.”
And in Monday morning stand-up meetings, employees can “talk about things that they learned or something they got stuck on and how they moved through it,” says Wilms. “It’s an example of how we are sharing knowledge and collaborating together.”
