New York--Online advertising company 24/7 Media Inc. said it would cut about 100 jobs and close or downsize certain offices, although it declined to name which ones. 24/7 said the restructuring will result in annual cost savings of $10 million and allow it to focus on its most profitable units. Also, Tony Plesner, formerly senior VP-strategic planning, was named chief operating offer, replacing former President-COO Tom Detmer, who stepped down last month. The company will have about 850 employees after the restructuring.
