24/7 Real Media partners with four b-to-b publishers to create online advertising network

New York—24/7 Real Media, a digital marketing company, Monday announced a partnership with four major business publishers to create BBN, a b-to-b online advertising network.

The publishers taking part in the network are: Cygnus Business Media, McGraw-Hill Cos., Nielsen Business Media and Reed Business Information. BBN offers the Web sites of several publications, including Agriculture & Food, Aviation Week & Space Technology, Building & Home Products, Construction Equipment, CPA Technology Advisor and Law Enforcement.

The BBN network reaches almost 10 million monthly unique users, with about 60% of the audience consisting of small-business owners. It includes more than 200 Web properties covering dozens of industries.

Derek Reisfield, former CBS executive and MarketWatch co-founder, has been appointed chairman of the new venture. The BBN properties are the latest addition to 24/7’s digital media offerings, which consist of more than 1,500 Web sites and draw 150 million unique monthly viewers worldwide.
