‘New York Times’ introduces enhanced iPad app

New York—The New York Times has released the NYTimes App for iPad, which is a new iteration of the newspaper’s Editors’ Choice App. The new app includes more than 25 sections of content and has more video and photos.

Fox Searchlight, Mercedes-Benz USA and MicroStrategy Inc. are launch advertisers on the new iPad app. The app is available free of charge through the Apple App Store. The Times said that, when it launches an online pay model next year, the app will require a paid subscription.
