A/B testing creatives for retargeting

Marketing retargeting company ReTargeter recently did some series A/B testing on its small display ads, jiggering a bit with the copy, tag lines and approaches. In its blog, ReTargeter stressed that different ads appeal to different kinds of audiences, and just because certain ads work for the company doesn't necessarily mean they'll work for you. Nevertheless, the three separate tests show both the successes of different approaches to small copy changes, and failures as well.
