Accenture wins Best of Show at BMA annual conference; HSR named Agency of the Year

Las Vegas—Accenture won Best of Show Wednesday for the Accenture Interactive Network at the Business Marketing Association’s Pro-Comm Silver Sledgehammer Awards.

HSR Business to Business won a Silver Sledgehammer Award for Agency of the Year, the sixth time it has received that award since 1995.

The Pro-Comm Silver Sledgehammer Awards recognize excellence in business marketing.

Accenture also won an award in the on-air/online category for the Accenture Interactive Network.

In the corporate/brand/integrated category, Tidalwave received an award for its “Test Drive” campaign for Hewlett-Packard Co. in the U.K.

In the print category, VSA Partners received an award for its “The World: In Progress” campaign for Caterpillar.

Slack Barshinger won an award in the trade show promotions category for the 2006 RIMS Conference produced for Aon.

Sullivan Higdon & Sink was named creative team of the year for work for client Cessna Aircraft Co.

Nucor Corp. was named brand account team of the year.

The awards were presented during the opening luncheon at the BMA’s three-day annual conference at the Venetian.
