AdCast offered for in-house advertisers

AmeriComUSA Inc. said it would offer its AdCast ad-serving software to companies seeking a delivery system for their media assets. The company said its system would be of interest to publishers, who are currently grappling with ways to deliver rich-media advertisements to customers. The software is the same used by AmeriComUSA Inc. subsidiary AdCast, which operated the advertising network AmeriComUSA said it would continue's operations as a standalone subsidiary, while AdCast focuses on selling software. Live London, a community site in the United Kingdom, is among the first publishers to license AdCast, the company said. The announcement was made at the @d:tech Worldwide conference in San Francisco.
