In this role, Press will oversee a new editorial structure in which most of ALM’s national news staff will no longer operate under a brand-oriented structure. Instead, reporters and editors will be organized into content teams covering seven topics: large law firms; in-house counsel; national legal news; litigation; intellectual property; international legal news; and legal technology.
ALM said the move will expand its delivery of content and hasten the company’s move to digital media platforms.
Press was previously editor in chief of The American Lawyer. Robin Sparkman, who had been executive editor of the publication, succeeds him in that role.
