AMA, Hayzlett Group and MarketFrames form CMO Academy

New York—The American Marketing Association, Hayzlett Group and MarketFrames Group have formed the CMO Academy, a series of live educational programs designed to provide senior and director-level marketing executives with the skills to enter the C-suite. The first course will take place next month in Chicago, followed by sessions in New York in November and Los Angeles in February. “The CMO Academy presents participants with a blueprint on how to navigate the marketing and business landscape as they move ahead in their professional careers,” said Dennis Dunlap, AMA CEO, in a statement. “Utilizing our courses, attendees will be able to take advantage of resources that have remained exclusive to the C-suite,” added Jeffrey Hayzlett, founder and CEO of the Hayzlett Group, in a statement. BtoB named Hayzlett its Marketer of the Year in 2008, when he was VP-chief business development officer at Eastman Kodak Co. MarketFrames is a 10-year-old consultancy that provides professional development programs and proprietary marketing models and tools.
