American Business debuts standard registration firm

New York-American Business Media said Monday that it has developed a standard template for collecting opt-in visitor information, which it said complies with accepted privacy standards. Available at, the form can be used by publishers to allow people to opt out of news services or the sale of their name to third-party marketers. The ABM, New York, worked with ad-serving and representation company B2BWorks, auditing firm BPA International and b-to-b listing management company Database Marketing Concepts to develop the standards.
