American Business Media to honor women in b-to-b

New York—To highlight the changing face of the business media industry, American Business Media will devote the month of January to recognizing the contributions of women in b-to-b. The effort will include specialized articles, blogs and video broadcasts.

As part of the program, ABM will honor the following: Deirdre Bigley, VP-worldwide advertising and interactive at IBM Corp.; Nina DiSesa, chairman of McCann-Erickson New York; Mary Dolaher, CEO of IDG World Expo; Erin Moriarty, a news correspondent on CBS’ "48 Hours"; Gloria Scoby, senior VP-group publisher of Crain Communications Inc., which publishes BtoB, and Peggy Walker, president-COO of Vance Publishing Corp.

The executives will be honored at ABM's inaugural "Women in Business-to-Business: Real Stories, Real Successes," an event that will take place Jan. 23 at the Prince George Ballroom in New York.
