AmEx partners with Zumobi on mobile campaign

Seattle—American Express Corp. announced it is partnering with Zumobi, a Seattle-based mobile media company, to extend its “Membership Effect” advertising campaign to mobile devices. AmEx is using Zumobi's Brand Integration platform to develop the mobile campaign, which will allow cardmembers to create personal profiles using their own photos. The campaign also allows users to sync their AmEx cards to Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter accounts, to unlock special offers at restaurants and retail stores. The campaign budget was undisclosed.
