AOL announces more personnel changes

New York—AOL Inc., which slashed 900 jobs last week, announced Monday more personnel changes. Among the changes: Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, is joining the Huffington Post Media Group and AOL as strategic adviser for social impact.

Additionally, John Montorio, who had previously been a features editor at both the Los Angeles Times and New York Times, joins the Huffington Post Media Group as culture and entertainment editor.

AOL also said that Howard Fineman, senior political editor of the Huffington Post, was named editorial director of the Huffington Post Media Group. AOL's Politics Daily is being folded into the Huffington Post Media Group.

At the same time, Engadget's Josh Topolsky, editor-in-chief, and Nilay Patel, managing editor, are leaving the AOL property, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal's All Things D.
