Asset International launches print version of previously online-only magazine

Stamford, Conn.—Financial b-to-b media company Asset International said Monday that it has published its first print edition of ai5000, a publication launched last year as an online-only product. The publication is aimed at “the world's 5,000 largest pools of capital.”

The first print issue is 32 pages. The articles in it are abridged versions of the online stories, and readers are directed to for more complete versions.

“Online editions with print forbears are as common as flies on a carcass, but a print edition with an online lineage is a rarity,” the publication's editor in chief, Kip McDaniel, said in a statement.

He added: “We were fortunate that virtually all of our sponsors saw the virtue of creating a hard-copy edition from our online template.”
