New York-- Aviation Week Group, a division of McGraw-Hill Cos., announced it will launch NetDefense in January.

NetDefense will be available to subscribers weekly in print, on the Web and via e-mail.

The publication will cover "network-centric operations," the computer-centric method of warfare that has moved to the fore as a result of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It will be aimed at network-centric operations leaders and decision-makers worldwide.

NetDefense will include distribution, sponsored by Lockheed Martin, to leaders in the White House, Congress, the Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security.

"NetDefense will cover current news, policy developments, programs and business opportunities across all defense and security applications of network-centric operations--building on Aviation Week's 85 years of expertise in covering aerospace and defense," said Kenneth E. Gazzola, Aviation Week Exec VP-publisher, in a statement.
