B-to-b magazine ad pages plunge 27% in January

New York—B-to-b magazine advertising page plunged 27% in January, compared with January 2008, according to data released Tuesday by American Business Media.

The trade association estimated that advertising revenue declined 21.2% in the same time frame.

The health care category was the worst performer, as its ad pages plummeted 39.67%. The aviation, aerospace and military category performed the best, with ad pages falling 8.16%.
