B-to-b magazine revenue, ad pages down through July

New York—B-to-b magazine revenue declined 1.8% through July, compared with the same period last year, according to a report released late Monday by American Business Media's Business Information Network. Ad pages fell 2.8% through the first seven months of this year.

Among the 22 ad categories tracked by ABM, Computing, Software and Telecomm had the biggest decline in revenue (down 18.11%), followed by Business, Advertising and Marketing (down 8.47%) and Aviation, Aerospace and Military (down 4.74%).

Ad revenue gainers included Architecture, Design, Lighting (up 9.97%), Resources, Environment, Utilities (up 9.26%) and Science, Research & Development (up 9.12%).
