BIA/Kelsey introduces local social advisory service

Chantilly, Va.—Media research company BIA/Kelsey has launched a new advisory service focused on social media opportunities for small and midsize companies within their local areas.

As part of its offerings, the company's Social Local Media service aims to coordinate buyers, sellers, platform developers and other social providers and offerings for its clients, the company said.

The new service will focus on monetization models for social networks, social metrics and reputation management, BIA/Kelsey said. Former industry analyst Jed Williams will be the program director.
