Bloomberg TV to offer ads through Google’s TV Ads platform

New York—The Bloomberg Television Network will make national cable advertising time in the U.S. available through Google’s TV Ads, a self-service buying platform launched last year by the Internet search giant.

Through the partnership, Bloomberg TV will be able to expand its reach to a wider array of advertisers, including those new to the medium, according to the companies.

The arrangement also brings new analytics capabilities to Bloomberg TV, a 24/7 business and financial news network. Since Google’s TV Ads reports data from millions of set-top boxes, advertisers can quickly measure ad viewership and responses and make campaign adjustments.

Google’s digital platform also allows advertisers to find relevant programming through its keyword search functionality.
