New campaign touts medical publications

New York--A new ad campaign created by the American Business Media and the Association of Medical Publications will launch in the March issue of several publications targeting health care advertisers.

Ads will run in the March issues of health care trade publications including Healthcare Marketer’s Exchange, Medical Advertising News, Medical Marketing & Media and Pharmaceutical Executive.

The campaign aims to win back some of the marketing dollars that have been siphoned off by physician meetings and events and direct-to-consumer marketing in recent years. The Association of Medical Publications is a non-profit organization with 23 member publishing organizations, representing more than 230 publications.
