Campaigner adds social sharing to email tools

Los Angeles—Email marketing company Campaigner, which focuses on small and midsize businesses, has added social sharing and reporting functions to its email products to enable recipients to share messages on their social sites. Campaigner's new Sharebar, available in the company's Email Editor and Smart Email Builder, allows marketers to add messages links to promotional offers, newsletters or other information that recipients may want to pass along via Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn or Twitter. Reports include an analysis of site views originating from these pass-alongs, according to the company.
