Cannes Lions Direct changes schedule

London--Cannes Lions Direct, the first annual direct marketing portion of the 49th Annual International Advertising Festival in Cannes, France, will now overlap with the main festival at the urging of direct marketing attendees. The scheduling change will give delegates the opportunity to network with their general advertising industry peers. The new dates for Cannes Lions Direct are June 20 through June 22; the International Advertising Festival begins June 16 and runs through June 22. Lester Wunderman, considered by many the "father of direct marketing," will kick off the direct festival.
