Channeling Don Draper

Friday’s post on “The Content Factor” blog discussed how Don Draper of “Mad Men” is a master of emotions. In the post, which is titled, “Don Draper Wins With Emotion (part 3 in a series),” blogger Paul McKeon notes how Draper never makes sales pitches too complex; he usually focuses on one emotional button. Under the heading, “One step, one goal: don’t boil the ocean,” McKeon writes, “Each element of a campaign, such as a subject line, a headline, a paragraph of copy in an email, or a landing page, needs one goal and only one goal.”
