CMO Council launches Latin American advisory board

Palo Alto, Calif.—The Chief Marketing Officer Council is expanding its presence in Latin America with a new advisory board, drawing senior marketing representation from 27 Spanish, French and Portuguese-speaking countries in the region.

The new board consists of members from such organizations as Hewlett-Packard Co., Philips, São Paulo Tourism, Sullair Argentina and UBS Financial Services.

The CMO Council said it would conduct a benchmark “Rate the State of Marketing in Latin America” audit to gain insights from senior managers at regional companies. It has already conducted similar surveys in Africa and the Middle East.
