Commerce One debuts content services

Pleasanton, Calif.--Commerce One Inc. said it is creating a global content network to deliver catalog content to e-marketplace customers. Dubbed the Content Refinery, the network finds Commerce One in the business of creating prepackaged catalog libraries that companies can access via its global trading web. Commerce One says the service will reduce time-to-market and lower the content costs for operators of e-marketplaces. It is available in a limited form now and will be broadly available by year-end.
