ComScore, Flurry combine for mobile app, behavior tracking

Reston, Va.—Digital marketing company comScore is partnering with mobile analytics company Flurry Inc. to offer enhanced tracking of smartphone mobile application usage.

San Francisco-based Flurry collects such information as length of mobile user sessions, geographic locations of use, new versus repeat activity and WiFi versus carrier network usage.

The combination of Flurry's analytics technology with comScore's mobile panel data will be offered to publishers, agencies, marketers and advertisers for insight into how users interact with iPhone, Android and BlackBerry devices.
