ComScore: U.S. online sales continue to slide

Reston, Va.—Second-quarter online sales in the U.S. fell 1% compared with the same period last year, according to digital marketing research and tracking company comScore.

E-commerce revenue totaled $30.2 billion in the second quarter, down from the $30.5 billion logged in the year-earlier period, according to comScore, whose analysis is based on reports from a panel of 1 million Internet users.
