Former DaimlerChrysler exec to head Carlson Marketing Group

Minneapolis—Jim Schroer has been named president-CEO of Carlson Marketing Group, a marketing communications agency. Schroer was previously exec VP-global sales, marketing and service at DaimlerChrysler, where he helped define the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands. Before joining DaimlerChrysler, he was VP-global marketing for Ford Motor Co. Schroer will be responsible for guiding the global strategic business direction and day-to-day operations of Carlson Marketing Group. Both DaimlerChrysler and Ford are Carlson clients.
