Delta Air Lines moves ad account from Ogilvy to SS&K

New York—Delta Air Lines will move its advertising account from WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather, New York, to SS&K, Advertising Age reported Thursday. SS&K is an independent agency that launched Delta's Song subsidiary.

Delta is currently in bankruptcy and faces a possible pilots strike. The agency switch follows the departure of Delta's marketing chief, Paul Matsen, last month.

Advertising Age reported Delta spends $40 million to $50 million on measured media, and said the airline is widely expected to drop the "Good goes around" tagline that Ogilvy introduced.
