'Design News' launches $1 million redesign

Newton, Mass.--Design News, a magazine for design engineers in the original equipment manufacturing market, has undergone a $1 million redesign. Changes include a larger trim size and bolder graphics. The magazine is now presenting more information in a “quick-read” format, and the number of in-depth features has been doubled. The publication will publish 18 issues this year, with six target market supplements and seven custom publishing supplements. There is also a digital version of the magazine available.
