DG Fastchannel to buy MediaMind, expanding global online presence

Irving, Texas—Digital ad distributor DG Fastchannel announced it will acquire international digital ad company MediaMind Technologies for $414 million in cash and stock. DG already has a strong North American broadcast market share, boasting some 28,000 TV, radio, print and online broadcasters and publishers, on behalf of more than 5,000 advertisers and agencies. The MediaMind acquisition is expected to leverage DG's entree into the international online ad market. New York-based MediaMind has 37 international offices, distributing digital ads online to Web publishers for 9,000 brands in 64 countries.
