Chicago—The New Zealand dairy company Fonterra Co-operative Group was named the Diamond ECHO Award winner by the Direct Marketing Association at its annual conference and expo here. The association awarded Fonterra best-in-show honors for its “Feel Tip Top” campaign, created by agency Colenso BBDO, Auckland. This is the second year in a row that Colenso BBDO gained a DMA Diamond ECHO. Last year the agency won top honors for its campaign on behalf of the New Zealand pet food division of international food company Mars Inc. Among the 76 ECHO awards presented, business marketing campaign honorees included United Parcel Service, taking home silver (second place) honors for its campaign “Go West: The Journey of Terracotta Warrior to the U.S.” Ogilvy New York created the campaign. Business campaigns gaining a bronze (third place) ECHO included Kirin Co., for its “1,000,000 Genki Song Project” campaign, created by DIAKO Advertising, Osaka, Japan; Mannaz for its “Sold-Out” program, from Relationshuset Gekko, Copenhagen, Denmark; and United Parcel Service for its “Flypaper” campaign, created by agency Ogilvy New York.
