DMA debuts Certified Marketing Professional program in Japan

New York—The Direct Marketing Association has introduced its Certified Marketing Professional educational program in Japan.

The certification program, first introduced in the U.S. last summer with both live and online courses, is being made available to employees of Japan Post, which runs the country’s postal system. The Japanese version of the program, currently available only online, will be widened to other participants in March.

The DMA said it hopes to partner with international organizations to extend the program to Argentina, Brazil, China, Dubai, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain and South Africa.
