New York—The Direct Marketing Association has named Cindy Humphrey, VP-product and marketing at telecommunications company CenturyLink Business, its b-to-b marketer of the year.
Humphrey oversees marketing for the CenturyLink division that formerly was telecom carrier Qwest Communications International, acquired by CenturyLink in April. According to DMA, she was selected for leading her team toward a demand-centric marketing model, shifting marketing spending away from traditional advertising and telemarketing.
The annual award recognizes b-to-b marketers for their achievements, innovation and leadership. It will be presented to Humphrey Oct. 3 during the association's annual conference and exhibition in Boston.
