DMA and NCFTA announce top five spam scams for February

The Direct Marketing Association announced that the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) has identified the top five spam scams in February. The top scams were phishing, tsunami relief e-mail scams, Nigerian money laundering scams, spyware and bogus online auctions. NCFTA is a nonprofit organization that operates the DMA’s Operation SLAM Spam in affiliation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
