DMA quarterly index: B-to-b reports strong revenue

New York—The b-to-b segment of the direct and interactive marketing industry reported strong revenue figures for the second quarter compared with other segments of the industry, according to the Direct Marketing Association’s Quarterly Business Review, which was released on Tuesday.

B-to-b revenue, it said, indexed at 64 vs. the same quarter last year, and projected revenues for the third quarter are higher, with a reported index of 70. The industrywide index for the second quarter was 61.

The QBR Index, which is a score out of 100, compares revenue each quarter year over year. A score of 50 means there has been no change; above 50 indicates growth, and below 50 indicates a decline.
