DMA releases international spam report

New York--The Direct Marketing Association has released a summary of international spam laws that covers 41 countries as well as the European Union. The report, which describes each country's e-mail laws for online direct marketers, as well as opt-in and opt-out practices, was created to help members comply with marketing guidelines globally. The report also explains European Union marketing restrictions set to take effect Nov. 1.
