Dow Jones adds industry-specific sections to MarketWatch

New York—Dow Jones & Co. announced Monday that it has launched a series of advertising sponsored, industry-specific sections—as well as personal-finance areas—on its MarketWatch site.

MarketWatch’s main navigation tabs include two subchannels: "Life & Money" and "Industries.

"Life & Money" contains sections on travel, banking, careers and small business.

"Industries" contains sections on technology (co-branded with CNET), automobiles, health care and retail.

All these sections offer co-branding and advertising-sponsorship opportunities. BMW of North America is a charter sponsor of the automobiles section; Verizon Wireless currently sponsors the travel section.
