Dow Jones introduces new organizational structure

New York—Todd Larsen, who was named president of Dow Jones & Co. Jan. 4, on Monday unveiled a new organizational structure for the News Corp. unit.

Dow Jones will now have five business groups: The Wall Street Journal in print; The Wall Street Journal Digital Network; Dow Jones Financial Markets, which includes Newswires; Dow Jones Corporate Markets, which includes Factiva; and Dow Jones Indexes.

Kelly Leach becomes general manager of the Journal; she was previously VP-business management. Gordon McLeod continues as the president of The Wall Street Journal Digital Network. Joe Lanza becomes president of the Financial Markets group; he was previously VP-managing director for sales and trading. Scott Schulman becomes president of the Corporate Markets group; he was previously president of Dow Jones Financial Information Services. Mike Petronella continues as president of Dow Jones Indexes.

Additionally, Larsen’s memo announced that Jennifer Jehn has joined Dow Jones as senior VP-marketing. Previously, she was the senior VP-marketing, online and human resources at the New York Post, another News Corp. property. Michael Rooney remains chief revenue officer of The Wall Street Journal.
