Email Experience Council partners with Iconix to fight e-mail fraud

New York—The Email Experience Council, the Direct Marketing Association’s e-mail marketing arm, Wednesday announced a partnership with Iconix, a company that provides visual e-mail identification tools. Legitimate e-mail messages from the council will be marked with the Iconix Truemark icon in recipients’ in-boxes. As part of the partnership with Iconix, the council will also make the Iconix eMail ID plug-in freely available to its members and the public on its Web site.
